    HIGHLAND SCHOOL ALUMNI & STAFF REUNION ON 24TH MAY 2025<\/strong><\/div>
    \u00a0<\/div>
    On the 24th of May 2025, over 35 Highland School alumni and more than 30 staff members came<\/div>
    together for a memorable day of commemoration, reflection, and reunion during which a series of<\/div>
    meaningful activities took place.<\/div>
    \u00a0<\/div>
    The different activities that took place include:<\/div>
    \u00a0<\/div>
    1. VISIT TO NYAMATA GENOCIDE MEMORIAL SITE<\/strong><\/div>
    The day began with a visit to the Nyamata Genocide Memorial Site, where staff and alumni paid their<\/div>
    respects to the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.<\/div>
    This moment was deeply emotional and<\/div>
    offered us a chance for remembrance, learning, and honoring the past. We were reminded of the resilience<\/div>
    of the Rwandan people and the importance of unity, peace, and reconciliation.<\/div>

    2. VISIT TO THE FORMER HIGHLAND SCHOOL LOCATION<\/strong><\/div>
    After the memorial visit, we proceeded to the former location of Highland School, the foundation of many<\/div>
    of our cherished memories. When we got there, Aunt Sandra shared stories about the early days of the<\/div>
    school, its humble beginnings, and the spirit that kept it alive. This visit reinforced in us the pride of being part of Highland\u2019s rich history.<\/div> <\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
